Samus attempts to fire at the beams, but is overwhelmed by one. Galeem produces dozens of light beams, which quickly approach the fighters and consume them all. Shulk has a vision foreseeing the Fighters' swift defeat, but it is already too late to stop it. Suddenly, all of the Master Hands disintegrate and are absorbed into Galeem. Fox, Marth, Zelda, and Pit speak briefly to consider a battle plan and reassure the Fighters that they will win. Many of the Fighters, including Samus, are seen on this cliff, observing an approaching army of Master Hands serving the lord of light, Galeem. The story begins on a cliffside, resembling the cliff overlooking the Isle of the Ancients at the end of The Subspace Emissary. Move up the center and you’ll finally be locked into the path to the True Ending.Samus with the other fighters, preparing to battle Galeem. After that, you’re once again given the option to walk up to Galeem, Dharkon, or the center path. Once Master Hand and Crazy Hand are free, a path to the top center is clear, and the balance of light and dark is even, you can step up to the crack they’ve made for another fight. The easiest way to do that is to clear a path there without worrying about the balance, then go back and fight the weaker spirits toward the start of the map on whichever side you need to defeat more of so that the balance shifts back. You’ll need to make your way up to that crack, but the balance of light and dark has to be even when you get there. Beat those new ones as well and they’ll both head to the top center of the map and create a crack in the ground. Doing so will make another of each spawn at the bottom corners of the map. You’ll first need to fight your way to Master Hand and Crazy Hand on the map and beat each of them. Since both sides are bad guys, you’ll need to fight them both equally. Here’s how to do that: Once the light or dark is all the way over to one side, you will be able to fight a harder version of the boss whose forces you have been defeating, but doing so will give you a fake ending.īeating Galeem or Dharkon alone here will result in a cutscene and then send you back to the menu screen without even a credits sequence.
